2024-2025 REGISTRATION

St Marys Ringette Association - Registration Information

Registration for the 2024-2025 season opens on 18th April and will close on 1st  September. Registrations after this date will require SMRA Board Approval, and will be dependent on roster size in the appropriate age division.

Please use the link to register on the RAMP InterActive registration system.

Great news! Our grant application for our UFUN crew was successful and allows us to offer Learn to Skate UFUN1 at a reduced cost of $200!

New to the sport of ringette? We have a deal for you too! New players U12 - Open C will receive $100 off registration.

Registration costs are set out in the table below. Please note that:

  • Fees and lottery increased to reflect increases in ice costs;
  • Bond amount remains the same - $250 and the hours required per family is 8 hours (UFUN1-U19). Open players are required to complete 4 hours. Open player bond is set at $150
  • Full payment is required by October 1st and insurance must be paid by September 1st, prior to a player stepping on the ice.

Like last year, SMRA registration and Ringette Ontario fees/insurance are separate items. Ringette Ontario has set their fees for Membership and Insurance at $65 for UFUN1 and UFUN2 programs and $80 for the rest UFUN3-Open. SMRA will forward the Ringette Ontario portion on behalf of members when registration closes.

Please register in the appropriate age division according to the athlete’s birth year:

Frequently Asked Questions:

How much ice can I expect a week?

  • UFUN1 up to our U19 teams will typically be on the ice twice a week. Our Open C ladies have weekly ice and our Open A tournament team has monthly ice. Ringette ice is Tuesday and Thursday nights, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons.

What additional fees can I expect?

  • A Volunteer Bond of $250.00/per family is also required to be paid by post-dated cheque. A $150 bond is required for Open A and Open C players. Our annual tournament (December 13 - 15, 2024) and bi-weekly bingos (beginning in May 2023) are examples of ways to fulfill your bond, and other fundraising opportunities arise during the season.
  • Provincial fees will be forwarded to applicable families if a team is formed, once WRRA/GLRL fees are known.
  • Financial Assistance is available for all St Marys sporting activities. For further information and assistance, please contact Town of St Marys Director Community Service, Stephanie Ische on 519-284-2340 x 624 or sische@town.stmarys.on.ca.

My player is home to SMRA but is playing on a provincial team with another association. What fees do I pay to whom?

  • You should register with this association, and we will deal with the fees for Ringette Ontario and transfer your registration to your host association.

How do I make my payments?

  • Registration payment to SMRA is encouraged through personal cheques or via e transfer to treasurer@stmarysringette.ca .  E transfers must include player’s name and date of birth.
